Fall Booth 2014

I know you've heard me mention about a billion times that I have been planning a woodland theme for my booth! I have been collecting things for an entire year and was finally able to take everything to my booth today to decorate for the fall. I loaded my space to the max with all things woodland, and now I kinda want to move in! I love how it turned out! I'll let the pictures do the talking. Enjoy!! :)

Nate and I made these AWESOME animal heads on the plaques! I plan to put together a tutorial on how to make them very soon!!

What's your favorite part of the space? Mine would have to be the mantel, hands down!!!

Easy Canvas Prints

Almost three years ago I was surprised with an extremely generous gift from the great people I work with - a new DSLR camera they knew I had been dreaming about and saving for for months! I was so excited about all the pictures I could take of my son and for my blog.

I received the camera around Christmas and the following fall I took some beautiful pictures of my son, Anderson, playing in the leaves. Like I said, I had been dreaming of being able to take amazing pictures and I had so much fun that day.

Anderson was around two at the time and I remember it was a bit difficult getting him to cooperate. I had a specific shot in mind that I knew I wanted to capture - him laying down with the leaves surrounding him. I remember having to literally hold him down and probably bribing him with candy to keep him still enough to get a couple of good shots! :)

The photos turned out just as I had hoped and they are some of my most favorite pictures of Anderson. So, when Easy Canvas Prints gave me a chance to order one of my pictures on canvas, I knew immediately which one I was going to use!

I received an 11 x 14 canvas and the quality of the canvas and photo are gorgeous!!!!

I'm grateful that I'll be able to display and see my favorite picture of Anderson that holds such great memories everyday!

Please keep an eye out in the next week or two for a giveaway here! You will have the chance to win your very own 11 x 14 Easy Canvas Print!!!

*I was given a canvas to review, but all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

Woodland Mushrooms

You may have heard me mention before that I've been planning a woodland theme for my booth. I've been brainstorming and buying things for about a year now! I've decided to take it all in as my fall décor and I started working on some things today to get ready.

Last year I found these cute sparkly mushrooms at Michael's on sale after Christmas.

I removed the metal clip

And attached the stem to a Styrofoam ball cut in half.

I used the mushrooms in different containers to create fun "gardens".

I love the pop of fresh green from the moss!!

A little terrarium :)

These milk glass candleholders sat in my booth for months, so I used them in a new way. I'm hoping they will finally sell now. We'll see!!!

How would you have used these mushrooms?

Eclectic Summer "Mantle"

The cabinet in my living room I use as my "mantle" has been a bit neglected and cluttered all summer, so I worked to change that and made it pretty. I have been digging the eclectic look lately and gathered things throughout my home for a natural collected look. I am now seriously in love!

I had this Wagner bust in my booth for awhile, but I just had to bring him home. He belongs here!

I know you would have been shocked if I hadn't incorporated feathers in here somewhere. ;)

I usually don't like shells and anything really beachy in my decor, but lately I think they look great mixed in with other natural items. The colors of the shells are lovely too.

I would like to find some fun washi tape for the feathers on the mirror, but scotch tape will have to work for now.

Any new styles you've been liking lately?
