I'm planning to redo my kitchen soon (after we finish our bathroom remodel!) so I've been trying to find things to decorate with that I have a few ideas for.
I love old compacts! How cute are those angels! The small one on the right is blush.
An old milk bottle carrier and some cute ironstone dishes
Wouldn't these old spoons and rolling pin look cute sitting in a crock on the counter?!?
I can't wait to repaint this shelf. It's a pale pink right now.
I don't know what it is, but I have a thing for mirrors!!
I have a wall of mirrors in my bedroom that I will be doing a post about soon.
I got this box (the lid was broken off) and everything in it for $1.50. It's mostly filled with junk and empty medicine bottles, but I found a few fun things. I plan to hang the box on the wall in my bathroom and use it to display some old bottles I have.
I love trips like these where you walk away with fun goodies without having to spend a lot of money!
I'm linking to the parties found in my sidebar and to:
Some great finds for interesting kitchen displays. I am sure the box lid can be fixed (to look old) and will find new purpose with you. Lots of treasures inside for a buck and a half.

Melissa, the milk man came around this morning about 7:00 and caught granmama stirrin' icing with a wooden spoon. She gave it to George who was young, but granmama had a crush on his dad years back. In comes Aunt Tillie from the bathroom carrying her powder and rouge compact. Granmama mutters something and tells me later no woman that age should have hair the color of black shoe polish and cheeks made up like a madame, but Aunt Tilly is funny cause she leaves red lipstick stains on the milk bottles just to make granmama keep mutterin' -- And Oh -- shall your house have stories to tell as you melt the old with the new. The Lord has blessed you in that way. Terri www.morningdewdrops.typepad.com
