I've had this 80's retro looking bench that's been sitting in my garage for months. Inspiration and motivation finally hit so, with my mom's help, I made a cute little ruffled drop cloth slipcover and gave it a fresh coat of paint to give it a new life!!
If you think the slipcover is as cute as I do, visit Jennifer over at
Dear Lillie. I used her
slipcovered ottoman tutorial as my guide.

This is such a great little piece--perfect for so many places. Thanks for linking up!
ReplyDeleteOh, that is so stinkin cute!
ReplyDeleteThat little bench had a complete makeover and looks great. I have to develop my eye a bit more so I can see the "bones of possibility" rather than the "outer shell of impossibility" in an old piece in colors or style I don't like.
ReplyDeleteDarling- shared it on FB~ thanks for sharing at Feathered Nest Friday!
ReplyDeleteThat is adorable! What a makeover!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteAh, so pretty! I keep hoping to find an ottoman to slip cover for one of the chairs in our living room. It's always more comfy to have something to prop your feet on. :) Thanks for reminding me about Jennifer's tutorial, too. Hope you have a great weekend!
