The cabinet in my living room I use as my "mantle" has been a bit neglected and cluttered all summer, so I worked to change that and made it pretty. I have been digging the eclectic look lately and gathered things throughout my home for a natural collected look. I am now seriously in love!
I had this Wagner bust in my booth for awhile, but I just had to bring him home. He belongs here!
I know you would have been shocked if I hadn't incorporated feathers in here somewhere. ;)
I usually don't like shells and anything really beachy in my decor, but lately I think they look great mixed in with other natural items. The colors of the shells are lovely too.
I would like to find some fun washi tape for the feathers on the mirror, but scotch tape will have to work for now.

Love it! I am the same about beachy decor but I included shells in my mantel too and it worked! I love how you pulled this all together and included all of the natural elements. Perfection! I think I have an almost exact same collection of bottles and ink bottles...we are so alike :) I LOVE how you put them in the box. And where did you find that concrete planter? I have been wanting some for my succulents!

ReplyDeleteYou could use that weird sticky taper candle wax stuff for your feathers........just for the quill part, don't get it on the feathers. They'd stick, It's what we use to keep little doll house miniatures in place.
