My Booth

On Wednesday my husband Nate and I went to set up my booth. I snapped a few pictures so you could see what it looks like. It's definitely a work in progress as I'm still trying to build my inventory and finish a few pieces of furniture to add to the space.

My space is a corner booth so it opens up to two aisles. I love this setup because you can see or walk through my booth from either side!

We only had two weeks to prepare (one of which we were recovering from the flu) so we are still brainstorming cost effective ways to create more permanent walls to define the space a little better.

I quickly made my little blog logo, but I plan to make a bigger one from pallet boards. The little shelf will be the perfect spot to place my business cards once I get them ordered.

Nate built two of these tables for me. The construction is identical to the kid's pallet table we built for our son, but the dimensions are 36" x 16" and it's 33" tall.

He also built me these awesome crates. The one on the top is made from pallets.

There's still a lot of work to be done, but I think we're off to a great start. I'm so excited about this new venture! As I bring in more items to fill the space, I'll be sure to keep you updated!

  6. Cheers to Nate! He better get ready to be building a lot of those little pallet tables, especially based on the internet response you got to the one for your kids!
Spent an afternoon at shops, and the one thing I noticed that was very consistently used to define their spaces were old doors, they made their walls, defined their borders with doors. I don't see any reason why you couldn't use that clever mind of yours to use pallets.

  10. Looks wonderful, got my eye on those ironstone dishes. How about using old ladders to hang from or suspend from the ceiling to hang. Old wooded doors for the use of tables. I actually used a old door on sawhorse for the dessert table at our wedding. Well, the best of luck keep us informed love seeing what you are up to. andi
