Burlap, Ruffles and Lace

I've been making burlap runners and a few pillows for my booth and wanted to share some of the latest I've made with you.

I made runners with ruffled muslin and lace. I love the combo of white and burlap and the lace and muslin add a touch of elegance to the rustic look of burlap.

Instead of hemming the ruffles, I left the edges how they were after I trimmed them with my pinking shears. I thought it looked really sweet.

I won't be sad if this pillow doesn't sell! I'm sure I can easily find a place for it in my house. :)

  26. That pillow probably has already been scooped up even as I type this! I absolutely love, love the pinking sheers idea for the edges (hey, I'm always up for fewer hems and fewer pins ...)
