Attack of the Linen Closet

I was in organization mode again this weekend and tackled our beast of a linen closet. It was a little scary. I had no idea what I was going to find in there!

 
See what I mean....scary! Please tell me I'm not the only one whose closets end up like this. 

After going through everything and filling a trash bag, here's the closet now!


 

I found the canvas storage bins at the Family Dollar for $2.00 a piece and painted numbers on the front!

Next weekend I'll be tackling the closet in my craft room. 


 Oh boy!

    Your 'before' photos look painfully familiar! The canvas baskets are a great idea. I've gotta try this!

    Trust me, you're not the only one whose closets end up like that! I have a room that looks like that (hubs' office/tv/collections) recumbent bike that can't be used.... I have to do that linen closet every couple years. Where does it all come from? Mines happening soon, you and your fabric baskets inspired me. Love that Dollar Store.

    Your linen closet is the same size as mine. I'm going to check the dollar store for those bins. I've been keeping my eye out for good bins for not only my closet but for my new shelves. I'm so glad I stopped by from Feathered Nest Friday!

But I’m here now and it’s great to read about your Organisation of the Linen Closet - all these posts by organised ladies (and gents!) make me hang my head in shame as I think about our closet.
