Spring Mantle

I've been pretty consumed with repainting, sewing, and making things for my booth lately, so my own house has been pretty neglected as far as decorating and projects go. I made some time last week to put together a simple spring fantle (fake mantle). Enjoy!

I found the small section of picket fence at one of my parents' rental houses. I'm so glad I grabbed it!

I used an old trowel to hold scrabble tile magnets and an Easter postcard.

My two year old son, Anderson helped me pick daffodils from our yard.

I had to add this shot of some mini daffodils because they're just so cute!

  2. Pretty--daffodils in a blue Mason jar picked with your son--it doesn't get much more perfect than that!

  3. I like the daffodils in the jar too. I wanted to pick some daffodils the other day, but ours haven't been in the ground long enough to have multiplied enough to have 'extra'. Love the mantel.
