Last summer I found these cabinet doors at the Salvation Army.
The first door I turned into a message center.
I finally got around to finishing the second door and turned it into a pretty black and white damask jewelry holder!
I love how it turned out!!
Aren't these knobs gorgeous? I found them at Hobby Lobby.
Fun chicken wire to hold your earrings
And cute knobs for necklaces and bracelets!
Looks great!! I have so many old doors and shutters waiting for a "purpose"...I NEED to get out there and do something with them. Thanks for the inspiration :) Laurel
ReplyDeleteNice repurpose Melissa! I love the black & white Damask fabric & the knobs compliment it perfectly. You should make more for your booth. Great job, Dee from My Painted Stuff
ReplyDeleteSo so pretty. Now where is this going to be hung? or do you intend to lean it? I love the whole thing ... thank you for sharing your talent with us at The "Sunday Stop".

ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea. I'm currently trying to figure out what to do with my jewelery- I have a nice holder but my necklaces are almost all too long and drag on my vanity table. This is a serious contender! I wonder what I can find at my Salvation Army! If you have a minute, I'd love for you to link up to Sweet Sharing Monday - http://saynotsweetanne.com/2012/sweet-sharing-monday-15/
