View from the door.
I think the framed initials are my favorite thing in the room.
This picture was a gift made by Grandma.
We still need to hang it on the wall to cover the electrical panel.
There are lots of little things on these shelves from my husband and I. The long framed pictures are of my husband's grandfather. The cradle planter was my husband's, the wooden rosary is mine from when I was baptized as a baby. And the shoes and sweater hanging from the glass knobs belonged to my husband.
We made these by using shelves we already had around the house and attached leftover beadboard to the back. Then we added the green and blue glass knobs.
We needed something narrow for this space. So I found a towel shelf at Target to use as a book shelf.
We found this dresser at an antique store for $30. It was in great condition. All we did was repaint it. I love the sides of the dresser. My mom made the cute runner.
I love how it is naturally getting distressed in areas from opening and closing the drawers.
My stepdad made this quilt rack. The top left blanket was my husband's and the bottom center was mine. All the stuffed animals except for the white bear were mine as well.
I got the curtains at an antique store for $2.00!
Some of these books belonged to my dad.
