Vignette and a Sneak Peek

Do you remember my spring vignette and the shelf I use as my "mantle"? Well, I made a few changes over the weekend that I'm so excited to show you.....part of it anyway!! :)

I transformed a cabinet over the weekend and placed it under the mirror in the living room. The top of the cabinet has now become my new "mantle". Are you ready to see my new vignette? I'll be giving you a sneak peek of the cabinet, but you'll have to wait until June 20 when I reveal it during the summer link party!!! Go here to learn more about this Blog Party.

So, what do you think? I was going for an industrial chic vibe for the summer!

I got the sewing machine drawer and letter U printer blocks at an antique store in Bell Buckle, Tennessee 2 weeks ago while we were on vacation.

My husband and I both work at a church and he does a lot of side jobs for members of the congregation. He got this little metal file cabinet for free for helping one member clean out her basement!!!!!

It makes a great place to store odd and end craft supplies.

 I absolutely LOVE mercury glass!

Ok, are you ready for a little teaser!?!?! I'll see you on the 20th for the big reveal! Hope you're as excited as I am!

  15. I have 3 small tool chests similar to yours purchased from 2 different WWII vets. Yours is a GREAT color, which can go from lime green summer accessories, through fall earth tones, to winter evergreens.
