Old Window Project

I finally did something with this old window that's been sitting in our garage since I bought it at an estate sale for $2 in July.


I scrubbed it down REALLY well, had my husband Nate cut off the end that was rotting, painted it with a coat of Antique White, sanded it down with some steel wool, added some pictures and here's what it looks like now.



I love love LOVE it!!!! It's crazy seeing pictures of my little cutie pie side by side and how much he has changed in almost 2 years!

  1. OMG, Melissa, this is great! What a great idea to do a multiple picture frame with that window, putting your children's pics, I need to show this to my daughter, she'll love this idea.   2. Great idea! My grandpa did this with a window from his mother's house. He put pictures of his family in it. It turned out so cool!
