I wanted to share with you today a very cool item I found recently at Goodwill. I debated back and forth whether I wanted to keep this find for myself or put it in my booth. I finally decided to keep it...for now, because I've never seen anything like it before and it has that great industrial look I love!
So, are you ready to see!?!
Do you see that fabulous little metal storage cabinet? Do you see now why I want to keep it?!?
Look at what the metal tag says.
I did some research and discovered that The Dentists' Supply Company was established in New York in 1899 selling ceramic teeth, implants, surgical tools and appliances. They are still in operation today. I'm curious to know how old this cabinet is.
Now onto some beauty shots of the rest of the vignette. I was playing around with the focus settings on my camera so bear with me. :)

I had no idea it was for dentists! I love the details on it! I really like the BIG pulley. I have a smaller rusty farm one, but your has so much character!

I work in a dental office (I am a dental assistant/back office) and those were quite common back in the day. Now of course, you don't see them that much unless they are in someones collection. Not sure how old it is but I think that it was in the 1900's looking at the materials they used. Would be fun to find out!!!

Love this. I just bought some old pulleys at a garage sale and was having a big debate with myself what to do with them. I think I'd like to use one on the wall as a hook, but then there is one left. I told my husband it would be neat to just lay it out and he thought it was crazy. Thanks for the photos, as I can now tell him I am definitely not crazy!
