I came across this berry basket carrier on etsy recently that I fell in love with!!
I love the rustic/primitive look to it and I had some berry baskets I found at an estate sale that needed a home.
As always, I turned to my handy guy and he built me a carrier that turned out very similar. I chose to stain it a little darker than the picture above, but I still think it turned out really nice.
Here are the steps Nate took to build mine.
Using six of my berry baskets as a guide for measurements, he used furring strips to make a simple frame.
Next he added three boards for the bottom base.
He made four little angled legs.
And angled supports for the dowel rod handle.
The completed berry basket carrier.
Stained and filled with baskets and fall touches.
