So, you guys.....I have this thing for arrows...kinda like I have a thing for feathers. I think it may stem from my secret desire to be Katniss Everdeen. The Katniss that's good with a bow and feels at home in the woods. Not the one who, you know, kills people and is the face of an uprising -- just so we're clear! :) But really, arrows are just flippin' cool. That's all there is to it.
Anyways, like I said last week, I mixed enough black milk paint to redo a wash stand, a star table, and the table I'm sharing today.
I found this table way back in September and finally figured out what to do with it. (Are you like me where things sit forever until the perfect idea/inspiration hits?)
It would have looked just fine as is, if not for the huge water mark in the center of the table, so it had to be redone.
I painted the top with the black milk paint and stenciled on the arrows in metallic silver acrylic paint to tie in with the table base. I distressed it, then sealed it with hemp oil.
This arrow chalkboard that my husband made has been sitting in our garage for a year too. I thought I would get this checked off the list while I was at it with the table.
For photo prop purposes, I made these CUTE stick arrows.
I'm pretty much in LOVE with this table, but like everything else, it had to go to my booth. I may actually shed a tear when this one sells.
