New Thrifty Finds

I haven't had a chance to post about my latest buys yet, but over the last several weeks I have accumulated a ton of fabulous stuff. I've been to an estate sale, Goodwill, Salvation Army, and antique stores. Get ready for lots of pictures. Here are my new thrifty finds!!

I love Hallmark ornaments and snowmen, so I couldn't pass these up for $1.50!

A sewing drawer filled with vintage house numbers, letters and old postcards

I bought the books to make wreaths and I loved the metal baskets

Ironstone!!!!!!

Look at that Ironstone pitcher!!!! Gorgeous!

The monogram on the covers of the books are so pretty

I have been looking EVERYWHERE for vintage locker baskets. I finally found one at an antique store

An old sap bucket that will be the trash can in our newly remodeled bathroom.

I am redecorating our office at the church where I work. I bought this frame for a project.

This will be used in a Pottery Barn knockoff project.

I am loving the detail on this frame

Brand new boxes of note cards and envelopes

Again, loving the detail!

More Ironstone and white china!!

I also bought 2 chairs to go around our new farm table, but I forgot to take a picture. I'm in the process of painting them now, so I will post about them soon.

I'm linking to the parties listed HERE and to:

  9. Wow, a girl after my own heart for sure. I would have bought each and every one of those things if I had seen them.

The barbicide container made me laugh (being a hairdresser n all).

The picture frames are to die for and........well all of it is amazing. Now all you have to do is find the time to do all the little projects with them. I have a box of projects sitting in my garage naging at me everytime I go in. lol

    Love the blog

  10. Your commenters make me laugh. We think alike.
I have some of the same fabulous items too. First - the Hallmark ornaments! Last year I never even got to decorate a tree. Let's hope this holiday goes better.
Love the books but it tugs my heart a little to hear you will be tearing them apart. Please just make sure they are not 1st, 2nd, 3rd editions of something valuable.

  53. I just found your post, so apologies for the late comment. I wanted to propose that the metal baskets you have under those books aren't baskets at all, but fan housings. You know, the guard to keep little fingers from getting cut off? I may be wrong since it's hard to tell from these pictures. In the end, they are what you use them for, so who cares if they're fan housings or baskets! I just was curious and thought I'd share.
